The Invisible by Marc Sethi
Dave Okumu plays selector…

We spoil you, we really do. Having premiered on the Clash App last month, here’s The Invisible’s DJ mix in full, for those of you who are less partial to listening on the move.

Clash recently visited the London-based trio to get some advance information on their third LP, which looks to be titled ‘Sun’ and should be released before the summer’s completely behind us, via Ninja Tune. Check out that In The Works feature here

DJ Mix, as compiled by the band’s frontman (and producer to the stars) Dave Okumu, below…

Tracklist:

J Dilla – ‘Shouts’ (Says Dave: “His music continues to be a constant inspiration.”)
The Flying Lizards – ‘Her Story’ (“I first heard this when The Roots sampled it.”)
Kendrick Lamar – ‘The Recipe’ (“LA in musical form!”)
Joe – ‘Claptrap’ (“Drum beats can be melodic, and this is exactly that.”)
The Notorious B.I.G. – ‘Unbelievable’ (“SO heavy.”)
Q-Tip – ‘You’ (“A true pioneer… Everything he does is essential.”)
Tirazh – ‘I’m Not Dancing’ (“Micachu produced, and she’s essential, too!”)
L Naafiysh – ‘The Soul’ (“Inspired and seminal electro tune.”)
Azealia Banks – ‘1991’ (“Harmonically advanced dance music”)
Lone – ‘Airglow Fires’ (“Thanks Gilles Peterson for this.”)
