Whisper it, but The 1975 could well be the most provocative, flamboyant, and outrageous act in the land.
New album 'I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it' swept into the charts at number one on both sides of the Atlantic, with the band toasting their success with five (count 'em!) nights at London's historic Brixton Academy venue.
In short, it was like nothing else around. Dry ice, confetti, lights, and all the hits, The 1975 crushed the doubters and won over the cynics with a series of incredible performances.
And, as usual, Clash was in the front row...
