Lisa Mitchell is a fan of music in all forms - and formats, too.
For ease, there's nothing she likes more than racking up a few of her cassettes and letting them scroll through, absorbing the music as she goes.
Picking the tapes up dirt cheap - seriously, these things are everywhere in charity shops - she's amassed a formidable collection of rarities, oddities, and stone cold classics.
Set to fly out to the UK for a series of tour dates, the Australian artist kindly agreed to pick out a few of her reel-to-reel recommendations.

Vashti Bunyan - 'Just Another Diamond Day'
Mnnn, Vashti... She takes me to another place... It's slow there... Lots of green grass and wild brooks and black-berries and rabbits... I like it...

Bear's Den - 'Bad Blood'
Don't know if they ever released this on tape (!!) but just before I recorded my new album, I spent a month on a bus with these lovely men, touring through Europe and UK, supporting them last year. They had many beautiful songs, but this was my favourite.

Sade - 'Your Love Is King'
My Dad often played Sade growing up... Her voice is the warmest hug... The saxophone on this... Oh, yeah... So good...

George Harrison - 'My Sweet Lord'
I've always been a George girl.

BUOY - 'Exit'
BUOY is supporting me on tour at the moment in Australia. Every night she blows me away. I've known her for so long, and it's such a powerful and perfect feeling to have her sending her open these shows for me, sending her heart-breaking voice out into the beautiful people who've come to watch, holding us all..! I'm always there, dancing side of stage...
