Here are T’s other favourite things:
BOOK
“Now, I don’t really read unless I’m on holiday because at home or when I’m on the road or whatever I’m on my laptop or my iPhone all the time. So even if I try to pick up a book I’m distracted. Last book I read was the Nile Rodgers biography when I was in South America in January with no phone and no laptop, that was banging.”
MOVIE
“The last film I properly watched apart from that Prometheus rubbish - I ain’t even gonna talk about that, cause that film there is DEAD - was Into The Abyss, which is a very deep, very sad, very informative, very moving movie about capital punishment. It’s by a famous director [Werner Herzog] who’s quite out there with what he does. It was just really good, capturing emotion, and to me that’s what it’s about, I don’t care about no big dutty effects.”
GADGET
“I buy a lot of apps. The last app I bought was called PicFrame. It’s a gadget you put on your iPhone and you can put more than one photo into one, it’s like a little montage of your photos. Also the British Airways app is banging for me because I can put all my itinerary in there and I don’t even have to get a ticket when I get to the airport, I just scan my stuff, show it them and it shows me whether my flight’s late or early, and that’s pretty pengalicious.”
TV
“One show that I have been watching hardcore is Breaking Bad. It’s so sick, it’s got every sort of vibe in it; it’s happy, it’s sad, it’s exciting, it’s stupid, it’s funny, it’s serious, it’s nail-biting, it’s silly, it’s wicked, man; it’s got every element to what a TV show to me should be about. It’s about a really normal bloke from the States who gets far too involved in the drug trade by accident, basically, and he can’t get out for one reason or another, and it’s amazing.”
