R&B hombre Angel shares his enthusiasm for the Discovery Channel.
"I love the Discovery Channel and more specifically the programmes that come on Discovery Channel. You’ve got things like 48 Hours, wildlife programmes and other things like that. In terms of the whole crime and investigation subject, I just love the whole build-up of the scenes, the climax and finding the people, then sending them to the trial and everything else that follows. All of that is just very interesting to me.
Then you’ve got all the wildlife shows where you’ve got David Attenborough talking and explaining about the way of life of these animals that you never knew existed. In my spare time and when I’m not locked into the music industry, its just straight Discovery mode. The lion has to be my favourite animal; it’s the real king. I’m not trying to have anybody box any food out of my mouth or try and step on my territory so, in terms of that I’m just like them. The war stuff on the channels next to Discovery is good too. I love looking at how they used to test warplanes and how they were built. I was just watching one of them the other day actually. Yet, even though I watch a little History channel I’m definitely still more of a Discovery man.
I’m not even gonna lie, the channels do get a bit confusing but I just know them all by numbers. I’m a Virgin box man, so I think Discovery is 212 and Crime And Investigation is 237.
I’m just into discovering things that are real. I’ve never really been a soap man.”
